How to Simplify Your Life (43 mins)
Elisabeth Elliot
This is from a talk Elisabeth Elliot delivered in 1992. Life has only gotten more busy, cluttered, and chaotic in the intervening decades, but Elliot’s solution still holds: You have to get clear before you get organized.
If our lives are really cluttered to the point that we are feeling a little cluttered or desperate at times, then something is wrong, something is very radically wrong. What is it, exactly? It probably comes down to the fact that you’ve probably never really figured out what you want in life.
How to Make the Best Imperfect Decision (2 mins)
Justin N. Poythress / Time and Chance
Perhaps the most beautiful reality of God and Christianity is unity through diversity. That’s also how wisdom works. Notice this proverb doesn’t say “listen to your heart.” It doesn’t even say “find one mentor you trust.” It says with many advisers your plans will succeed.
Benefits of writing sermons (really really) early (5 mins)
Stephen Kneale / Building Jerusalem
I was chatting recently with another pastor about my freakish approach to sermon writing. I do accept I am the weirdo here. I am currently writing manuscripts that will not be delivered until sometime in February. So, whilst this coming Sunday we will be preaching from Titus (though I won’t be the one preaching it), I am currently preparing sermon in 1 Corinthians which we won’t begin until several weeks into the New Year.

13 Ways to Redeem Small Pockets of Time (25 mins)
Tiny pockets of time—5, 10, 15 minutes—add up. Redeeming the pockets of time means not wasting them but employing them well to serve Christ, love our neighbors, and steward these lives for the glory of God.
A DOSE OF WISDOM

Proverbs 2:6-7
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding;
he stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
he is a shield to those who walk in integrity,
